Job Summary:
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Keokuk, IA is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment with the possibility to extend. • Active Speech Language Pathologist State License
• Current BLS/CPR Certification
• 6 months of experience within the last 5 years

• Administer speech and language pathology and swallowing evaluation, treatment and implementation.
• Recognize indications and contradictions to treatment, modifiy treatment programs and be familiar with normal and abnormal responses in the treatment of the patient.
• Instruct patient/family as needed, adapt conventional speech therapy techniques to meet the needs of the patients.
• Document concisely, accurately and legibly all appropriate charting and paperwork.
• Follow ASHA guidelines for ethical and high-quality job performance.
