Job Summary:
A school district in the Norwalk, CA area is looking for School Psychologists to join their team for a travel assignment for the 2019-2020 school year with the possibility to extend.

• Evaluate student’s progress (identifying strengths and weaknesses) using a variety of psycho-educational instruments
• Provide annual and biennial evaluations. o Design a personalized assessment battery for each student to report a current level of functioning, including educational achievement, oral language ability, visual perceptual skills, cognitive functioning, social and emotional behavior. o Administer core tests, score and analyze results, summarize observations, and prepare clearly written and comprehensive reports and data which provide practical recommendations. o Report results at IEP and Treatment Team meetings, as needed. o Meet with classroom teacher to review and discuss obtained scores and to select possible goals and objectives
• Provide the following consultation services as needed
• Active State License (Not required at the time of submittal)
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Master’s degree
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Initial or Continuing Certification in School Psychology.
• Training and experience in the administration of cognitive, academic, adjustment, and adaptive evaluation instruments.
• Training and experience in the interpretation of cognitive, academic, adjustment, and adaptive evaluation results.
• Successful experience leading building-based problem solving and evaluation teams.
• 6 months of experience within the last 5 years
